DR. ANTHONY J. CLASSI, DMD
Dr. Anthony J. Classi is a respected dual trained implantologist and prosthodontist in NYC who focuses on restoring natural-looking, healthy smiles. Having graduated from Iona College in 1984, Dr. Classi went on to complete dental school at Fairleigh S. Dickinson Jr. College of Dental Medicine from 1984-1988. At Fairleigh S. Dickinson Jr. College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Classi received his DMD degree, which stands for Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Classi went on to complete a residency in general medicine from 1988-1989 at Flushing Hospital Medical Center. After graduating dental school, Dr. Classi enrolled in a post-graduate prosthodontic program from 1990-1992 at New York University College of Dentistry. From 1992-1994, Dr. Classi completed an advanced education program implant fellowship where he studied dental implantology.
Currently, Dr. Classi is a Clinical Associate Professor at New York University College of Dentistry in the department of periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Classi is also is a Clinical Director at New York University College of Dentistry in the full mouth rehabilitation program. Dr. Classi teaches at New York University helping future prosthodontists and dentists learn proper dental techniques.
While Dr. Classi has over 25 years of experience in the field of prosthodontics, general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry, he continues to hone his skills by keeping up-to-date with the latest dental technology and procedures in the field of prosthodontics. As the Clinical Director at NYU, Dr. Classi remains at the forefront of dentistry and prosthodontics, being the first to test some of the newest treatments and technologies available.
A highly respected prosthodontist, Dr. Classi is a member of several professional organizations that acknowledge his skill, such as the American College of Prosthodontics, the Northeastern Gnathological Society, the Academy of Osseointegration, the International College of Oral Implantologists, and the New York County Dental Society. A leading professional in the field of prosthodontics, Dr. Classi continues to conduct research and has had his work featured in several peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Classi is a prosthodontist in NYC who specializes in dental crowns, dental bridges, porcelain veneers, Invisalign® clear braces, teeth whitening, dental implant surgery, and more at his private practice in NYC.

Dr. Classi graduated from Villanova University and continued his education at New York University College of Dentistry, where he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He completed a prestigious residency program at Montefiore Medical Center, where he treated and analyzed complex full mouth rehabilitation and cosmetic cases while incorporating the latest digital technology. Dr. Classi is passionate about advancing his dental education by attending continuing education courses focusing in Aesthetic and Digital dentistry.
He believes in a patient centered philosophy focused on preventative care with detail to cosmetic and implant dentistry. Having been born into a family of dentists, he follows in their footsteps to bring compassion and care into his treatment approach.
Having a particular interest in sports, Dr. Classi founded a sports mouthguard company and outfits several NCAA and professional athletes.

Elena executed the procedure with care, expertise and overall just a pleasantness about her that made the process very easy to get through. The procedure was supposed to take place over 2 days, taking care of each half of the mouth over two separate days. After finishing the first half, Elena asked me if I just wanted to lock in and knock it all out in one shot which I was happy to do. From the happy greeting I get at the door from Randi who has helped coordinate all of my appointments around my busy schedule, to the work I’ve had done in the chair, the team here is bar none the best I’ve come across and deserves the highest praise I can relay. Second time leaving a review for this amazing team and staff. Went in for a cleaning after getting a root canal done. Extremely happy I found Classi Smiles as my new dentist. Everyone at the office from the front desk staff to the doctors are true pros. The hygienist, Sam, is incredible and does a great job every time (even has me flossing more now!). I Had a full top set of upper implants done by different dentist which took over 5yrs to complete. When a full set of lowers was needed I had the anchors and a temporary set of teeth all done in one visit with Dr. Stein DDS MD. Installing the anchors and Dr Classi installing the perfectly fitting temporary set of teeth . I revived high quality care and it will all be completely done in 6 months! Instead of 5 years . I highly recommended this Dynamic Duo of Dentistry.

Doctor Classi is by far the most talented dentist I have ever gone to. His attention to detail is amazing. Dr Classi repaired years of sub par work and my teeth have never been in such great shape. I have now been going to him for years and could not recommend him more. His office is state of the art , his team is excellent and he is just a great person on top of being a super talented doctor.

He and his staff are kind, sweet, good people. .He's a real doll and I love all the gals who work at the front desk and his assistants. AND THE RESULTS - which most of us worry most about - ARE EXCELLENT. His lab tech came to the office to personally match the color of my teeth. I could not be happier. I am very happy my daughter found him. I also enjoy working with his staff, a team of quality professionals.
